Best Kept Secret My wife and I have traveled to Playa many times over the last 15 years. We love the area, but wanted to find a quieter hotel than where we stayed on earlier visits. We discovered LunaSol on a side street a couple of blocks from 5th and we were impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms and the friendly staff. The location is within walking distance to the bus depot, the ‘colectivos’, and many great restaurants. Nancy, the owner, always makes us feel welcome and special. She also responds fast to emails regarding any questions or concerns. We always stay there now, and would highly recommend it to anyone heading to Playa del Carmen.
